Job tasks and duties

Do you think it is important for children and young people to be able to talk confidentially and anonymously about what is on their minds? Do you enjoy being in front of a group? Then we are looking for you!
Foundation De Kindertelefoon is unique in the way it speaks to children: confidential, accessible, anonymous and based on children's own strengths. Stichting De Kindertelefoon is a national organisation. Over 550 volunteers conduct conversations with children and young people from seven locations in the Netherlands. They can discuss their problems and questions anonymously via telephone and chat with professionally trained and supervised volunteers.
The guest lecturer gives guest lessons in the upper grades (groups 5, 6, 7 and 8) of primary education and/or at secondary schools in the lower grades (classes 1 and 2). In doing so, the volunteer provides information about The Children's Telephone: how to reach The Children's Telephone, what kind of topics can/should be called/chatted about. The aim is to create an image of De Kindertelefoon. The volunteer does this on the basis of the existing lesson plan.

Minimum education level: hbo/wo
