Job tasks and duties
Are you enthusiastic, creative and passionate about organising sports and games activities for children? Then we are looking for you!
We are looking for a Sports and Games Supervisor to work with the neighbourhood to ensure that our games container opens after school. Here, children can enjoy a range of sports and play materials in the beautiful enclosed garden of Neighbourhood and Playground Association (BSV) Selwerd. As a Sports and Games Supervisor, you will have a crucial role in promoting active play for children in our neighbourhood.
You interact with children, parents and other neighbourhood residents. You can teach children (new) sports and play activities and learn to play together with other children. You manage the collection and distribution of play materials and you are responsible for ensuring and checking the stock of materials. If you know someone with whom you would like to do this together, you may also apply together.
Job skills and qualities
- A passion for organising sports and games activities for children.
- The ability to connect easily with children and parents.
- A love for outdoor activities and being outdoors.
- Ability on Tuesday and/or Friday afternoons from 2pm to 4.30pm.
- Living in the neighbourhood of Selwerd/Paddepoel and the game container.
