The recycling companies of GoudGoed collect tiddly goods. Goods are delivered to drop-off points or collected (free of charge). Everything that is still usable is sorted and repaired if necessary. The items are priced and sold in one of the GoudGoed thrift shops.
Job tasks and duties
- We like to see that you can deal well with customers.
- To be able to load and unload you need to perform lifting work.
- You are available at least 16 hours a week.
- You are in possession of driving licence B.
- You can deal with customers in a friendly and correct manner.
- You are able to perform lifting work.
- You can handle saleable items with care.
Job skills and qualities
A driver is the first person at Werkpro that someone meets in person. The driver therefore has a customer-friendly appearance. The driver is physically able to do the work and knows his way around the city. We depend on collection and people prefer to give stuff to someone who appears sympathetic.
Extra information
We check during an introductory meeting what the volunteer likes and wants to grow towards; what the situation is in which he or she is and what is needed for a personal step. We look for in a volunteer someone who, after a short familiarisation period, will quickly be able to work independently and strengthen the team. If you fit into that picture, you can get an expense allowance of 1.30 per hour.
If there does turn out to be too much guidance demand, we will look for pathway funding needed to pay for the extra guidance, or reduce our hourly allowance offer, but not without discussing this with you.
