Job tasks and duties
We are looking for referees for water polo. Do you have an hour (or more) of spare time at the weekend that you would like to devote to water polo? Then sign up as a referee!
In the North as well as within our own club, there is a shortage of referees. As a referee, you are expected to referee about 10-15 league matches per season. In principle, you will whistle these in the North, but you can also indicate that you prefer to whistle in Groningen.
Job skills and qualities
If you have your W certificate (jury certificate, or you have taken the new BSR course (basic referee), you can act as a gamekeeper at the youngest youth's tournaments (these are also organised regularly within TriVia). With this qualification, you can also follow the refereeing course. After this course, you may also referee senior youth and senior games. As a referee, you are expected to whistle about 10-15 league matches per season.
Extra information
Refereeing courses are three (online) lessons in the evening from 19:30-21:30, in addition to practising with the help of a practice supervisor.
