Interesting about this job
Are you the listening ear for the searching resident? Do you listen to someone's story and can you help translate that story into a plan of action? And do you believe that control over someone's life should remain with them as much as possible? Then we are looking for you!
Job tasks and duties
As a volunteer independent client support worker (OCO), you will think along with people who have a question in the field of the Wmo, around Youth Aid and the Participation Act. For example, when they need help with household tasks, raising their children or finding work.
What will you do?
You will help people ask the right questions to the municipality so that they find good guidance and support. You will also help people who find it exciting to have conversations with the municipality (via the Access, the Social Neighbourhood Team or at the Local Office for Work and Income). You do this by preparing the meeting with the municipality well together with the resident and, if he or she wants, going along to the meeting.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
To emphasise your independence, you will have a volunteer contract with Zorgbelang Groningen. You will also receive extensive training from Zorgbelang. This will ensure that you can guide, with regard to the content, clients well.
