Job tasks and duties
We are looking for a class assistant to support, and help with Literacy classes. Preferably with teaching experience. The group consists of natives from the Middle East, Asia, Africa and America. You will provide support where necessary and complement the teacher with knowledge of the Dutch language and/or culture. Class times are Monday mornings and Thursday mornings from 9-12 a.m.
Minimum education level: havo/vwo
Job skills and qualities
- Affinity with different languages/cultures.
- Insight into the Dutch language.
- Lots of patience, humour and flexibility.
- Educational background is an advantage.
- Experience as a language coach (Nederlands als tweede taal) is an advantage.
- Stimulate self-efficacy, not teach.
