Job tasks and duties
Onderling Sterk is an interest group ‘by and for’ people with intellectual disabilities. Onderling Sterk is not dependent on care institutions and aims to stand up for the interests of people with intellectual disabilities and support them in participating in society.
The work of a coach takes place on Thursday evenings from 19:30 to 21:00 once every 6 à 8 weeks in the service centre Confiance, Kochstraat Groningen can be at the meeting.
You help prepare the meeting and organize activities. This amounts to approximately 30 hours per year. It can sometimes be nice if the coach also has time to help during the day.

As a coach:
- You have an affinity with the target group.
- You take on the challenge of getting people with a disability to do things themselves, push their limits and actively participate in society.
- Build on the qualities and abilities of people with disabilities.
- Considers people with intellectual disabilities as equal.
