You and other enthusiastic people form the board of a foundation that supports an education project in Peru. The Peruvian foundation provides supplementary education and workshops for underprivileged children in Cusco. We receive monthly updates on activities from the local coordinator. It is fun to sympathise with them and contribute to their successes.
Job tasks and duties
We are looking for a motivated and committed chairman to lead the board and take on the following tasks:
- To ensure a well-functioning board.
- Presenting the foundation externally and promoting optimal communication.
- Supporting board members and volunteers.
- Continuous joint development of policy and implementation.
- Monitoring the quality of implementation of: established policy, board decisions and application of regulations.
Minimum education level: hbo/wo
Job skills and qualities
- Motivated, committed go-getter.
- Administrative experience, preferably in a chairperson position.
- Good communication, connecting and social skills.
- Interest in Latin America, education and social projects.
