Do you see work to be done and enjoy maintaining a clean and beautiful environment? Are you good at maintaining woodwork and can you ensure that lamps, for example, look neat? Then come volunteer on Wednesdays to join our newly formed cleaning team for the Chinese team.
The Chinese garden, called "The Hidden Kingdom of Ming," is one of three Chinese gardens outside of China and is therefore among the most unique gardens in Europe. This garden was entirely designed by a Chinese urban landscape architect and built almost entirely by hand by Chinese craftsmen using only Chinese materials.
Job tasks and duties
As a volunteer on the cleaning team, you'll work with other volunteers to ensure the garden always looks spick and span. You'll keep the woodwork and light fixtures clean. If you spot any repairs, you'll report them to the organization. On Wednesdays, you'll work with the team on the Chinese Garden, creating a special place for our visitors.
