Job tasks and duties
You will support the teacher during lessons for adult non-Dutch-speaking students. As a volunteer you will help ééone student or a small group of students during lessons with the Dutch language. We are looking for volunteers who are comfortable with the Dutch language and enjoy working with foreign-speaking adults.
Enthusiastic, communicative, patient and an open attitude, are key words.
Minimum education level: mbo

- Knowledge of the Dutch language.
- Patient.
- Enthusiastic.
- Like working with non-Dutch-speaking people.
- Able to deal with cultural differences.
- Education experience is a pré.
Extra information
During a literacy class, non-native speakers are taught who have had no/little education in their own country or who are not literate with the Latin script. The literacy course teaches the basics of Dutch.
