As a volunteer, you will be part of a close-knit group of (highly educated) people who together provide services to people with mental vulnerability. The mix of professionals, volunteers and our staff creates a nice working atmosphere in a professional office environment.
Job tasks and duties
The foundation is a socially engaged (care) enterprise and advocates for the participation of people with a susceptibility to developing psychosis. Together with professional staff, a group of volunteers and our employees from the aforementioned population, we provide tax returns, apply for benefits and do budget management for people with mental vulnerability.
We offer professional services (mostly free of charge) according to the principle "for and by" people with vulnerability.
We ask a volunteer to have an affinity with our people and their qualities and limitations. In addition, experience with administrative processes and/or experience in the field of financiën is nice to have.
The volunteer at New Neighbourhood Foundation monitors and supports the staff in carrying out their tasks.

Extra information
Providing meaningful work-based day care and services to people with mental vulnerability promotes social participation. The people who use the services are relieved and this leaves more energy and space to focus on other areas of life such as housing, relationships, family, work, etc.
