You are the one who decides what comes out on behalf of De Vakantiebank in the Socials. You are the think tank on that. You have great freedom, but we also expect creativity and enthusiasm. We are too :).
You work in an enthusiastic team of people who have the same goal: to arrange a carefree holiday week for people with an income at or below the social assistance standard. Among them are many families with children. The Holiday Bank wishes children could say they went on holiday. We also want to make people without children, outside the high season, happy with a well-earned holiday week to get away from their daily worries.
Job tasks and duties
As an employee at the Holiday Bank, you will have a varied office role:
- You will maintain, update and create our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn as well as VB's News page).
- You will help think of ways to raise the Holiday Bank's profile.
- You might become the compiler of our Newsletter.
- You will also enrol participants (families in poverty) maintain contact with the participants and provide support in booking holidays.
- A participation job requires a working week of at least 16 hours.
Minimum education level: hbo/wo
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Creative and smart, with imagery and writing content for social media.
- We are looking for someone who is handy with the PC and quickly becomes familiar with various software.
- Able to work independently.
- Good command of the language, writing.
- Not afraid to make phone calls.
- If you have an affinity with our target group and would like to work in a small team, you are most welcome.
Extra information
De Vakantiebank works largely with volunteers.
This is done partly from home and partly from a workplace in Groningen.
We offer a generous volunteer allowance (at a minimum of 16 hours per week).
