Job tasks and duties
- Sowing, planting, harvesting vegetables and fruits under the guidance of a chef Toentje.
- Prepare harvest for transport to the Food Bank.
- Maintenance of the kitchen garden: weeding, digging, pruning etc.
- Maintaining the grounds and surroundings of Toentje.
- Cooperate in an enthusiastic and motivated team.
- A participation job requires a working week of at least 16 hours.
Minimum education level: basisschool
Job skills and qualities
- Interested in organic vegetable gardening.
- You like tackling in the outdoors.
- Able physically to do light and heavier garden work.
Extra information
You can also sign up for individual gardening projects at Toentje. For example, we regularly plant, hoe and harvest at Farmers for the Food Bank. We then work on call with a small group at the farmer.
This vacancy can be filled as a volunteer position as well as a participation job.
