Opening hours Kiosk:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 11am – 5pm
Saturday and Sunday: 1pm – 5pm
The kiosk will open a minimum of 4 days and a maximum of 6 per week in summer. In spring, autumn and winter, this aim is also there, but depends more on the weather. We do want to offer as much continuïteity as possible.
The Kiosk is open between 1 April and 31 October.
Job tasks and duties
In the heart of Vinkhuizen, in the middle of the green Diamantpark, stands the coffee bar Kiosk Diamantpark. A green shipping container that has been converted into a cosy coffee and tea house with a terrace. The kiosk is an idea of residents from Vinkhuizen and runs entirely on volunteers.
Foundation Kiosk Diamantpark is looking for kiosk employees. This is a volunteer job of at least één half a day (3 hours a week (Wed, Thurs or Fri) or 4 hours a month (Sat or Sun). You will always work with a colleague. If you are 13+, you may also sign up together with your mum or dad, grandpa or grandma.
Duties and Tasks:
In this position you will mainly be selling products such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, ice cream, sweets, crisps and snacks. You are ééone of the faces of the kiosk in Diamond Park. You are determined to make the kiosk a success. Payments at the kiosk can only be made by PIN/contactless.
- You pay attention to your guests.
- You take orders and pay.
- You keep the kiosk tidy and clean.
- You actively think along to make the kiosk the vibrant heart of the Vinkhuizen neighbourhood.
We are a team of enthusiastic neighbourhood residents. That is ready for each other and for its customers. In consultation, we can see together what our visitors' wishes are and respond accordingly. The customer is always king!
Minimum education level: mbo

You will learn hospitality and service skills (being ready for visitors to the kiosk).

As a foundation, our motivation is to be a cosy and approachable meeting place, where everyone is welcome for a cup of coffee or tea, with some goodies, ice creams etc. At the kiosk, an opportunity for a chat, support and warmth is offered in a friendly atmosphere.
