Job tasks and duties
To people with severe addiction problems, the Twelfth House offers day care. The participants are often poly users, have problems in more than one area and often cannot overcome them on their own. Their world is often small and behaviour is not always appropriate. Structure, clarity, attention and respect provides a first entry point to connect with these participants.
Participants are addressed on their behaviour and emphasis is placed on achieved goals or progress. The most important thing is to allow the participant to gain or regain control of their own life as much as possible.
- Recording visitors (entry and exit).
- Taking the phone.
- Possibly other administrative work by arrangement.
Job skills and qualities
- Customer-friendliness because our participants (homeless people) could use some kindness.
- Speaking up clearly and honestly without exaggerating, but also not hiding anything.
- To the extent possible, make sure that people adhere to certain behavioural standards, but you don't always have to; sometimes it's not a good time.
- You can also discuss your obsevations with the project management, and you can grow and develop yourself.
Extra information
Prior to starting, a brief intake will be held where we aim to match the purpose of the application and the interests of the applicant.
