Job tasks and duties
Foundation WelMobiel is active in the districts of Vinkhuizen, Lewenborg, Beijum, Hoogkerk, Oosterparkwijk and neighbouring districts.
We drive door-to-door in the neighbourhood with electric cars’s and ensure that neighbourhood residents can participate actively in the neighbourhood again. This includes doing shopping, visiting friends, but also going independently to the GP, physiotherapy and or day care. Our clients are mainly elderly people or people with mobility needs who can no longer do so independently.
Because of increasing demand for our services, we are looking for new drivers.

- You mainly transport people, but in addition you could deliver parcels, groceries or meals.
- You are available for at least 16 hours a week (if you want a participation job).
It is possible that familiarisation may be done in a different district from the one where you will be deployed.
Job skills and qualities
- You are a sociable person.
- You are customer-friendly.
- You are in possession of driving licence B.
- You are well on your feet (we help customers get in and out, but we are also happy to lift a shopping bag).
- You speak the Dutch language well enough to make yourself understood.
- You are flexible (working according to a schedule).
- You are in possession of a good sense of humour (have fun in our work).
- You can provide a VOG on request.
Extra information
You will receive a lot of appreciation from the target group, many of whom are now not in contact with others. Because of your social function as a driver, we expect you to be the eyes and ears of the neighbourhood. If you notice that users do not know how to find their way around, you will pass this on to your manager, so that the neighbourhood can respond. Your input is of great value to the cooperating parties in the neighbourhood.
