Job tasks and duties
The WelMobiel Foundation operates in the Vinkhuizen, Lewenborg, Beijum, Hoogkerk, Oosterparkwijk, and surrounding neighborhoods.
We drive door-to-door in electric vehicles, empowering residents to actively participate in their community. This includes grocery shopping, visiting friends, and even independently going to the doctor, physiotherapy, and/or day care. Our clients are primarily elderly people or people with mobility needs who are no longer able to do so independently.
Due to the increasing demand for our services, we are looking for new drivers.

- You will primarily transport people, but additionally, you could deliver packages, groceries, or meals.
- You are available for at least 16 hours per week (if you prefer a participatory role).
The onboarding process may take place in a different neighborhood than your current assignment.
Job skills and qualities
- You are sociable.
- You are customer-focused.
- You hold a valid category B driver's license.
- You are mobile (we assist customers with boarding and disembarking, but we are also happy to carry shopping bags).
- You speak Dutch well enough to make yourself understood.
- You are flexible (work according to a schedule).
- You have a good sense of humor (we enjoy our work).
- You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct upon request.
Extra information
You'll receive a lot of appreciation from the target group, who currently often don't interact with others. Because of your social role as a driver, we expect you to be the eyes and ears of the neighborhood. If you notice that users are having trouble finding their own way, you'll report this to your manager so the neighborhood can take action. Your input is invaluable to the partners in the neighborhood.
