Neighbourhood Concierge(s) Neighbourhood Business Selwerd

We are looking for someone from the Groningen-City region, preferably from one of the neighbourhoods in which we operate (Korrewegwijk, De Hoogte, Selwerd, Paddepoel, Tuinwijk or Vinkhuizen). The aim of the neighbourhood council is to improve the quality of life in the neighbourhood. You do this by, among other things:

• Signalling abuses and reporting them to the appropriate body or bodies.
• Being a point of contact for residents with questions.
• Clean up litter.
• Collection of litter.
• And carry out other work that comes along from the District Office. 

In addition, you will supervise volunteers, participation workers and trainees, who will support you in these activities. In this position, you may learn and grow in the profession. So you do not have to meet all the job requirements (yet) when you apply. 

• You dare to take initiative: if you come across issues that do not immediately fit within your duties, you take them up (in consultation).
• Representative: you are a point of contact for both residents and authorities.
• Good oral communication skills.
• You stand strong in your cleanliness and are able to guide people.
• Flexible: the work can vary considerably and it is important to be able to switch.
• Customer-friendly and reliable.
• Able to work according to a structured schedule.
• In possession of driving licence B, preferably BE.
