Job tasks and duties
Together with the other volunteers, speaking to visitors to the studio and sewing café showing them around the workshop and giving guidance and advice on making clothes and accessories. Selling haberdashery, taking on mending work, as well as tidying and cleaning the workshop and the like are also part of the job.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Has knowledge and experience of various sewing techniques and can sew on the sewing machine.
- Preferably wants to occasionally do simple mending work.
- Is available on Saturday afternoons.
- Socially skilled and patient.
- Wants to learn new things.
- Able to explain and instruct.
- Having a hands-on and practical attitude.
