Some people have no or very little computer experience. Some have never touched a computer and others do not feel confident enough to go on the internet. In the Klik & Tik course, they learn basic skills such as starting up a computer, typing and sending an e-mail. Then they learn how to use the internet to look up information, buy something or book a trip. Finally, participants also learn more about using a smartphone or tablet and how to surf the internet safely.

As a Klik & Tik employee, you receive the participants and support them during the online lessons; the participants work at their own pace and at their own level. You will create a pleasant atmosphere and help participants become computer literate.

Assistant Click & Tap staff member, you will welcome participants and support them in the online lessons; participants work at their own pace and at their own level.

• You guide people in creating and logging in to a Klik & Tik account.
• You patiently help people understand and implement the Click & Tap course programme from Oefenen.nl.

• You are patient, empathetic and contribute to a safe and friendly atmosphere in the group.
• You are digitally literate.
• You have an affinity with the target group elderly, low-literacy and non-native speakers.
• You can communicate in simple language.
• You complete a Klik&Tik course yourself in preparation for your volunteer work.
• You are willing to undergo any additional training.
• You think along with the co-volunteers and coordinator about the implementation of the course.
