Volunteers are an indispensable addition in enhancing the well-being of residents. Together, we make a varied range of activities possible. At ZINN, attention is paid to the development and deployment of volunteers. ZINN applies various expense allowances and makes sure you are insured. We treat you to an end-of-year gift, offer pleasant and informative meetings and the opportunity to follow training free of charge through ZINN.
Job tasks and duties
As a volunteer at WelZINN's activities, you will have a variety of tasks. For example, together with other volunteers, you will make sure that everything is set up and that the residents receive a cup of coffee or tea when they enter. During the activity, you ensure that the activity runs smoothly and that the residents are happy and receive attention. Afterwards, together with other volunteers, you make sure everything is cleaned up and you close the activity together.
We are still looking for new volunteers for the following activities:
- Puzzler (Monday morning):
- Painting (Monday afternoon).
- Jeu de Boule (Monday afternoons).
- Floral arranging (every other week on Tuesday afternoons).
- The Merry Nut / musical morning (Friday morning).
- Musical performances (every other week on Wednesday evening, monthly on Sunday afternoon).
WelZINN offers a comprehensive programme focused on the well-being of older people. There is a focus on art, music and culture. We organise recurring activities, organise theme weeks and participate in various projects. Volunteering within elderly care is incredibly diverse!
