Mamamini has been a household name in Groningen since 1989 and, with four shops, some 200 volunteers and 20 employed people, it is impossible to imagine the city without it. We provide a meaningful workplace for many, prevent a lot of items from being thrown away and by selling these items, we can financially support foundations and associations with the Charity Fund. Job tasks and duties
Mamamini seeks enthusiastic treasurer with a heart for social entrepreneurship.
The unpaid board consists of five members and has recently started with a new composition. The ambition is to be a remote board, meeting 8-10 times a year. The content of the meetings is prepared by the management team. In the coming period, the focus will be on developing a long-term strategy to respond well to the new trends around thrift shops.
Job skills and qualities
Duties
The treasurer is responsible for the budget, financial policy and is a sparring partner for the finance manager and the board. The treasurer has no executive duties. We are looking for someone with experience in a medium-sized organisation or company. Given the composition of the board, it would be nice if the treasurer also has experience in business.
