Job tasks and duties
Together with your fellow site coordinator, you will be the focal point of the volunteer team in your programme area.
- In our booking system 'James', you will create the schedules and scripts for the hosts/women, so that they can set off with our guests to a beautiful performance without a care.
- You order tickets for our guests and volunteers from the theatres once a week.
- You think along about the selection and offer of the performances.
- As point of contact for the hosts, you maintain contact with the volunteers with the aim of binding and retaining them. You recruit new volunteers and organise an annual volunteer meeting.
- You liaise -if necessary- with the guests about booked outings.
- You work to raise awareness of Celebrate Life in your area so that more elderly people want to join.
- You discuss everything that comes up with your colleague location coordinator. You divide the aforementioned tasks as you see fit.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
About you
- One team, two goals: happy volunteers and satisfied participants; ingredients for a fun cultural outing!
- To perform your role successfully, you have an affinity with older people, culture and working with others.
- You can plan and organise well and you have social skills.
- You are, together with your colleague site coordinator, the connecting factor in your team.
- You are handy with computers and have your own computer or laptop.
- You live in Groningen city or surroundings.
