Job tasks and duties
What will you do:
Together with your fellow planning coordinator, volunteer coordinator, and theater coordinator, you will be the heart of the volunteer team in the Groningen region. You will divide the tasks listed below among yourselves, based on your own insights and talents. You will coordinate regularly with each other.
- In our reservation system, "James," you will create schedules and scripts for the hosts/hostesses, so they can enjoy a carefree trip to a great performance with our guests.
After receiving training from us, you can easily connect guests with hosts/hostesses for an outing, and with the click of a button, "James" will create the script for you.
This is a great job for someone who doesn't shy away from a bit of administration and enjoys organizing.
- As the point of contact for the hosts/hostesses, you will maintain contact with them about the planning and experiences during the outings. If you're a people person, then this is a great job for you.
- You'll contact guests, if necessary, about booked outings.
- You'll work to raise awareness of Celebrate Life in your area, so even more seniors will want to join.
- You'll discuss any issues with your fellow coordinators and the regional coordinator. You'll allocate these tasks as you see fit. Work together with your colleagues to create a great team!
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
About you:
One team, two goals: happy volunteers and satisfied participants; the ingredients for a fun cultural outing! To successfully fulfill your role, you have an affinity for seniors, culture, and collaborating with others. You're a strong planner and organizer, and you have excellent social skills. Together with your fellow coordinators, you'll be the unifying force within your team. You're naturally computer literate and have your own computer or laptop. You live in Groningen or the surrounding area.
