Job tasks and duties
In this position, you will manage and coordinate the district Volunteer Management team in Groningen. These are mostly volunteers with an HR background.
- Together with the team, you will advise and support the development and implementation of the volunteer policy and ensure there are enough suitable volunteers in the right place.
- Having selection interviews with candidate volunteers is an important part for you and your team.
- As coordinator, you ensure mutual involvement and connection within your own team and with other colleagues’s in the district.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
- You have good contact skills and you know how to captivate and motivate others.
- You subscribe to the fundamental principles of the Red Cross.
- You are able to keep both the interests of the organisation and those of the volunteer in mind and are not afraid to act accordingly if the two do not match.
- You preferably have an HR background or experience.
