Job tasks and duties
For over 10 years, the Spijker en Spelweek has been held in the last week of the summer holidays in Beijum. This event is visited by 200 children every year, who are offered a varied program of building huts and theme activities from Tuesday to Thursday.
The Spelweek in Beijum is the game week where the children are even offered a lunch at noon.
This year we will organize the Spijker en Spelweek again. Of course, this is not possible without volunteers! Do you want to help out as a volunteer during the last week of the summer holidays (18 - 22 August)?
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for people who:
- Want to help with the organization.
- Want to guide the kids in building huts.
- Want to help with a workshop or give a workshop themselves.
- Can help out in the kitchen to prepare breakfast, lunch and cut fruit.
- Have ideas of their own and want to implement them!

Do you want to help give children an unforgettable week during the summer holidays? The Beijum game week is from 18 to 22 August. We are always looking for enthusiastic employees who want to help with supervision, construction, dismantling, catering or animation. The Beijum game week is powered by more than 50 volunteers, otherwise this unforgettable week would never be possible. So do you feel like rolling up your sleeves, cooking, crafting, supervising or something else? Then join in, like many others.
