At ZINN it's all about attention - for residents, staff and volunteers. As a volunteer, you will be part of an energetic organisation. Attention is paid to the development and growth of volunteers. We treat you to an end-of-year gift, offer pleasant and informative meetings and the opportunity to follow training free of charge through ZINN.
Job tasks and duties
Every Wednesday afternoon, residents of residential care facility De Brink in Groningen play Jeu de Boules. As a volunteer, you will supervise this activity:
- You make sure everything is ready and cleaned up afterwards .
- You support residents during the game
- You keep the score
- You and other volunteers ensure a fun and relaxed atmosphere
Your efforts ensure that residents can enjoy an enjoyable afternoon together.

Job skills and qualities
- People-oriented and social: you have an eye for the needs of the elderly target group and are able to make connections.
- Knowledge of the target group: preferably you have experience with or knowledge of older people, e.g. people with dementia or somatic disorders.
- Commitment: you are willing to engage with others and enjoy working together in a team of volunteers and professionals.
- Compatience and respect: you respect residents' wishes and boundaries and provide them with the care and attention they deserve.
