The Flyer Group is a working group of residents' organisation Wijkoverleg Vinkhuizen and brings flyers around from door to door for various events and activities in the neighbourhood, such as the summer programmes for children and adults in Vinkhuizen, but also for the annual members' meeting of Wijkoverleg Vinkhuizen.
We currently flyer for 5 agencies in the neighbourhood (including Kiosk Diamantpark, community centre De Wende, Wijkoverleg Vinkhuizen and sometimes individual clients) and we 'average' about 8 flyer jobs a year. Coördination and communication is via a WhatsApp group. Each volunteer, in consultation with the coördinator, is given its own piece of neighbourhood to flyer. The different areas vary from around 195 to 680 letterboxes.
All the different areas are divided in such a way that you will be busy for approximately between 1 á3 hours. You can also divide an area over several days, as long as the flyers are delivered to the residents by the agreed deadline. For each flyer job, you can indicate whether or not you are available. So it is completely non-committal!
Job skills and qualities
A reasonable physical condition. Being able to walk well and work with your arms is important in this work.
Extra information
We offer a volunteer contract and insurance through the municipality. With a volunteer contract, you will also be rewarded annually with a little something from the residents' association.
