What do we offer?
We offer work that connects you to a wonderful museum in a beautiful location with a fine group of volunteers. You can participate in accompanying other activities such as concerts or workshops.
As a volunteer with us you have free access to our concerts. We also organise regular meetings and outings for all volunteers.
Job tasks and duties
What will you do?
Museum Vosbergen has a modest Hospitality Group that provides our visitors with coffee/tea/refreshments and cakes. The Hospitality Group is responsible for purchasing the necessary items, for baking the cakes and other delicacies, and supports the hostesses/hosts when necessary in preparing and serving.
Who are we looking for?
- A buyer, who enjoys keeping stock and making purchases within the Hospitality Group. You will do the work together with another buyer.
- Enthusiastic cake bakers, who will occasionally bake sweet or savoury cakes for our visitors by mutual agreement.
- You can bake at home and of course there is a reimbursement for the cost of ingredients.
- A combination of the above positions is also possible.
Job skills and qualities
- For the buyer, we are looking for someone who can work systematically, cooperate well with other buyers, and from whom we ask for a VOG because of the financial responsibility.
- For the cake bakers, we are looking for people who enjoy baking cakes and other delicacies at home and are skilled at this.
Extra information
Involvement: approx. 3 hours per week. It is useful if you have your own transport to go shopping in (the vicinity of) Eelde. A compensation can be given for this.
