Job tasks and duties
The Red Cross is a global relief organisation whose operations are framed in seven basic principles (humanity, neutrality, impartiality, independence, voluntarism, unity and universality). These principles form the basis for all actions of Red Cross volunteers.
As a warehouse management first aid officer:
- You are responsible for keeping the first aid material and Red Cross clothing up to date
- You are partly responsible for an organised and representative warehouse
- You are responsible for preparing, issuing and collecting materials and clothing and keep an administrative record of this.
- You participate in team meetings (physically or online via Microsoft Teams).
- You assist, if necessary, with the logistical preparation of events.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
You as volunteer:
- Able to work independently, accurately and neatly.
- Positive attitude.
- Have a good physical condition.
- Experience as a warehouse worker is a pré.
- Preferably living in the city of Groningen.
