Job tasks and duties
Customers regularly bring clothes or other textiles to our studio for repair and mending. Together with a team of volunteers, you will carry out the repair and alteration work. You will do this at our studio. If you like it, you can speak to customers.
The work can, if you like, be extended to taking care of the sewing café. This means that you will also speak to customers who want to use our workshop (sewing machines, cutting table, other materials and haberdashery) and advise or guide them if necessary.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Some knowledge and experience in the field of adjusting and repairing clothes and/or other textiles;
- has some knowledge and experience with the sewing machine;
- is willing to learn new repair and mending techniques;
- has a hands-on and practical attitude;
