Volunteers from the Zonnebloem go out of their way to bring beautiful moments to people with physical disabilities. So that they too can enjoy life to the fullest. That is why at the Zonnebloem we think in terms of solutions and posibilities. Board members support and guide the volunteers and ensure the proper functioning of the department, mutual contact and the necessary resources. Board members translate the policy of the national association into daily practice. Zonnebloem Groningen Stad is one of the 1000 branches of the national association de Zonnebloem.
Job tasks and duties
We are preferably looking for people who have managerial knowledge and skills from their profession or background.
- As chairman, you will propagate the vision and ambitions of the Zonnebloem and the department and enthuse volunteers for the beautiful work of the Zonnebloem.
- You will prepare the board meetings and the department meetings.
- You prepare board and department meetings.
- You ensure a good distribution of tasks within the board.
- You develop and maintain networking and cooperative relationships with relevant organisations and companies.
- You also maintain contact with adjacent and higher-level departments within the association, the national office and the association consultant.
The average time commitment is around 4 hours per week with peak and off-peak periods.
