Job tasks and duties
In addition to you, there are five coördinators, who are responsible for the activities, volunteers or publicity. You will take over the necessary tasks of one of them if that person is absent for an extended period due to illness or departure.
This is a varied position, in which you will get to know all aspects of the foundation. You will gain leadership experience.
- You will replace one of the coördinators when he/she stops or drops out. This may take several months.
- You broadly follow the developments within Autism Digital so that you can jump in when necessary. For this, you join a monthly meeting.
- Four times a year you function and take over the necessary tasks of the director for a week during his holidays.
Minimum education level: hbo/wo
Job skills and qualities
- You can work well independently and take action on your own without needing to be reminded.
- You can express your opinion in a group and respond critically to the opinions of others.
- You can communicate well, verbally and via email and whatsapp.
- You are good at filtering and distinguishing main and secondary issues.
- You are interested in leadership and have experience of this or wish to develop it.
At the moment, you could mainly help with social media, for which there is currently no coördinator.
Because we are an organisation for and by autistic adults, we do not accept volunteers who are under 18 or who are not autistic themselves. This allows us to safeguard volunteer experience placements for autistic adults and keeps our activities based on our own experience of having autism as an adult.

This interview takes about 35-40 minutes. If you like, someone you know can be present during the interview. If you want, you can get the questions in advance. On the one hand, this interview serves to get to know you and see if the position suits you. On the other hand, we will give more information about the position and our organisation.
