Job tasks and duties
Cosis runs the restaurant de Plantage together with people with a (mental) disability. The restaurant is located in the beautiful gardens of Hortus in Haren.
We have set out work-learning paths for the people with disabilities so that they can train in the catering business. As a volunteer, you will support us in the catering business and you can help with the training sessions.
In the Plantage, we offer guests coffee and sweets and simple lunches.
Job skills and qualities
You will support people with (mental) disabilities with, for example:
- Customer service.
- Making sandwiches and soup.
- Serving.
- Dealing with the cash register.
- Hygiene.
- Rinse kitchen.
We are looking for people who enjoy working in hospitality together with people with a (mental) disability.
Are you enthusiastic, can you motivate others and do you stay calm when many guests walk in? Then we would like to talk to you to see what we can do for each other.
Extra information
For rhythm and structure, it is important that you choose 1 fixed day(part) to work with us (or several days during the week).
The restaurant is open Monday to Friday (10:30am to 4:30pm).
