WIJ Groningen is on the eve of (further) developing our diversity and inclusion policy. In order to achieve our goals and spread our vision of diversity and inclusion, we want to fill and transform our Wijzer (intranet) page of the Urban Diversity Team into an engaging, relevant, convenient and useful source of information.
We are looking for you.
Your duties will include: gathering input from the team, writing texts and selecting relevant images. You will think practically and ensure that the page is attractive and accessible. You can also play a role in connecting the Wijzer page to the larger theme/website of diversity and inclusion; you will actively think about how we can get our message out even better.
This voluntary work will last about 3 months, during which you will work e.g. 2 days a week. Another period or more or fewer days is negotiable. You will be supervised by the project leader of the Urban Diversity Team, who will provide you with support and feedback during the process.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
- Education at MBO or HBO level in the direction of communication is a plus.
- Experience with writing/communication and content creation.
- Creative and practical minded.
- Affection with diversity and inclusion.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work independently and show initiative.
Extra information
WIJ Groningen's Urban Diversity Team is a multidisciplinary, executive expertise team that works for district residents with a non-western cultural background, refugees, asylum seekers and status holders. In addition, the team focuses on inclusion and diversity in the broader sense. The Diversity team aims to boost culturally-sensitive working (basic attitude of employees) and diversity & inclusion (vision, policy and implementation) within WIJ Groningen. The team deals with case studies itself and is also available to think along with/advisee on case studies from colleagues of WIJ Groningen, from various collaborations in the city and also for advice to external colleagues involved.
