Noorderzon Festival of Performing Arts & Society is the combination of an international arts festival featuring exciting contemporary performing arts from all parts of the world.... as well as a grand summer festival in a freely accessible park.
Everyone is welcome to visit the festival, or come to work. As a crew you can help in various ways to make the 34th edition of Noorderzon a success, for example as Bar Supervisor. Below you can read exactly what this position entails.
The 34th edition of Noorderzon will take place from 22 August - 1 September 2024!
Job tasks and duties
As Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the bar. This includes keeping sufficient stock behind the bar, ensuring the quality of the drinks and monitoring the structure and logic behind the bar. You are also responsible for managing and supervising the volunteers working behind the bar. This means welcoming, instructing and managing them, especially at busy times.
Job skills and qualities
As a Bar Supervisor, hospitality experience and leadership experience is a plus. Other skills we expect from a bar head are:
- Oversight.
- Social skills.
- Keeping calm.
- Responsible.
- Structured.
- Team player.
- In possession of SVH or willing to obtain it.
