Spark is the new cultural feel-good centre of the city of Groningen, beautifully located in the Stadspark. It is an inspiring meeting place where music, movement and creativity come together under one roof. Spark stands for cheerfulness, energy, creativity and, above all, connection between people.
In our centre, we offer various activities in our atmospheric spaces:
- The *SparkSpace*: perfect for dance, yoga, meditation or as a practice space.
- The *SocialRoom*: furnished with tables and chairs, ideal for creative activities, children's parties and social occasions.
- A spacious kitchen where cooking can be done.
- A large garden with a fire circle and a cosy terrace (open from April).
In addition, Spark also houses the colourful boutique of Afrikassi.
Job tasks and duties
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make Spark the place where people can meet, develop and simply feel good about themselves.
As a volunteer at Spark:
- You will help organise and supervise activities.
- You will contribute to the welcoming atmosphere of our centre.
- Assist in the maintenance of our beautiful location.
- Think about new initiatives.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
- You have an affinity for culture, creativity and connection.
- You are hospitable and enjoy interacting with different people.
- You can work independently, but are also a team player.
- You are enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
- You are available for at least 4 hours a week.
