Foundation Werkpodium Kraack is a theatre workshop for people with care needs. We offer our players a creative daytime activity in a safe, small-scale and inspiring environment. Kraack is the place where our players can discover and develop their talent and blossom. We create performances with an emphasis on theatre, dance and movement.
Job tasks and duties
We are looking for a new member for our Supervisory Board. This is a volunteer position. The new member must have managerial experience and experience in finance, for example as an accountant, financial manager or in another financial position. This means you are good with numbers and understand the organisation's financial picture. You will help us ensure that the foundation remains financially sound and achieves its goals in the right way.
You understand the importance of managing money well and have an eye for financial risks. You have experience or interest in performing a supervisory role, where you do not execute yourself but are critical and advisory. You can work well together, think about the future of the foundation and always keep the bigger picture in mind. You have an interest in the foundation's work and in supporting people with care needs.
Minimum education level: hbo/wo
Job skills and qualities
As a member of the Supervisory Board, you will be responsible for overseeing the foundation's policies. You look critically at the organisation's plans and decisions, with a focus on long-term and financial health. You do not have day-to-day responsibility, but you ensure that the foundation is well managed and makes the right choices, both financially and organisationally and acts in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You will help monitor the implementation of policies and ensure that everything is well organised, both financially and in other important areas. You have an independent role and keep your finger on the pulse to ensure that the foundation operates in a transparent and responsible manner.
Extra information
Our team consists of facilitators and theatre teachers for the players. Two facilitators currently make up the foundation's board. The foundation also has a Players' Council and a Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board consists of three members. Important tasks and powers of the Supervisory Board include appointing the directors and approving management decisions to adopt the budget, the management report, the annual accounts and the appropriation of the result.
You will have the opportunity to contribute your experience and knowledge to a valuable foundation. You will work with a committed team of volunteers and professionals. You will influence the direction of the foundation and contribute to the well-being and development of people with care needs, and thus to an inclusive(r) society.
And it's fun! You attend performances and then see back what your work behind the scenes brings in terms of enjoyment of the play and the development of players.
