Once a month, we organise a church service in 't Blauwbörgje for our residents.
For the well-being of our clients and their loved ones, we want to be committed. We find our inspiration and motivation in the uniqueness of people. We connect with them and their life story with our support.
We provide care, treatment and guidance where needed. In a way that suits the client or resident. We do this together with carers, family and loved ones.
It is nice to see that residents of our nursing home derive so much happiness from attending church services.
You therefore get a lot of gratitude for volunteering.
If you are religious yourself, this is a great way to contribute.
Job tasks and duties
- Prepare lectern, the candle and other important items for the pastor/preacher.
- Prepare the organ for the organist.
- Getting the hall ready to start the church service.
- Afterwards clean up together and have coffee or tea with the group.
Job skills and qualities
- You like to help by getting things ready.
- Social, you easily chat with a resident.
- Experience with church services is a plus, but not necessary.
- You are available once a month on a Friday morning.
