FestiValderAa is an intimate festival that takes place on 4, 5 and 6 July 2025 in the beautiful Drenthe stream valley landscape near Schipborg. For three days, this area is transformed into a vibrant meeting place where lovers of theatre, art and music come together for a unique experience.
FestiValderAa is made possible by a fantastic and hard-working team of volunteers. Every year we are looking for volunteers to experience FestiValderAa with us!
Job tasks and duties
Completely in your element behind the bar? Do you prefer to get your hands dirty with the construction team? Or do you like to ensure a warm welcome for visitors?
There are various tasks you can do:
- Guiding the public at the festival site or at a performance.
- Behind the bar at the festival site.
- Supervising children's activities.
- Traffic coordination.
- Providing lunch and coffee at the crew catering.
- Setting up the festival site as part of the construction team (in the period from 30 June to 9 July).
Job skills and qualities
- You are social, hospitable and flexible.
- You can work independently.
- You enjoy working with other volunteers.
Extra information
- With two or more shifts: free access to the festival grounds.
- With two or more shifts: opportunity to camp at the campsite on the volunteer field.
Please note that the festival is in Schipborg, outside the town in beautiful nature!
We would love it if you come by bike! Coming by car? There is plenty of parking space. There is also a bus service (it's a 30-minute walk from the bus stop).
