For our building at Heesterpoort 1, we are looking for a committed facility support worker who wants to help us with various practical tasks. The WIJ teams of WIJ Groningen, the consultation bureau and the Language House work in the building. Various activities are also organised here every week for local residents.

Job tasks and duties
You are an indispensable link in the daily running of the building. Your tasks and activities include:
- Keeping the meeting rooms and common areas tidy.
- Keeping the kitchens clean, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Taking care of the plants in the building.
- Cleaning the windowsills.
- Making rounds through the corridors: what is there and what could be improved?
- Refilling coffee cups.
- Emptying waste and paper bins.
- Putting out paper containers and other waste.
- Sweeping the square and the pavement around the building.
Job skills and qualities
- You like a tidy environment and are happy to get your hands dirty.
- You are independent and see for yourself what needs to be done.
- You are reliable and enjoy contributing to a pleasant atmosphere in the building.
Extra information
In consultation, the vacancy can be filled as a participation job. For this, you must be available for at least 16 hours per week. For more information about a participation job, visit gemeente.groningen.nl/participatiebaan. The hours are flexible, spread over two days or divided over several half days.
A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is part of the procedure.
