You speak and read Dutch well yourself, are interested in children and would like to contribute to language development in a playful and relaxed way. You are available for at least six months. Preferably a year, because of building a bond and so that the child knows she is worth it.
.Extra information
This question falls under Reading aloud, one of the activities of Humanitas Groningen. Should you wish to become a reading aloud volunteer, a volunteer coordinator will first meet you. Then the coordinator will accompany you for an introduction to the family. This coordinator remains involved in the background and is available to answer questions. Furthermore, you will have an introductory meeting with other (newly started) reading aloud volunteers. And online training courses are available for you to help you carry out your volunteer work properly. In addition, we regularly organise (optional) substantive and informal meetings to share experiences and gain knowledge.
