Job tasks and duties
What does the Advisory Group for Informal Care do?
- The Advisory Group for Informal Care provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the municipality on the implementation of its informal care policy.
- The members provide new ideas, make recommendations for informal care support, and if necessary work these out in a policy advice or activity.
- Some members help to compile the Informal Care Map and to organize the Day of Informal Care in Groningen.
The group currently has six members. All members are or were informal caregivers. They all have a heart for informal care.
The Advisory Group meets approximately once every six weeks in the Humanitas Groningen building.
The coordinator of Humanitas Steunpunt Mantelzorg and the policy advisor of the municipality of Groningen with informal care as a theme are always present at our meetings.
