The Children's Club in the Rivierenbuurt offers accessible activities every Tuesday afternoon for children aged 4 to 8. Think of crafting, moving, playing games or working with music. You contribute to creating a safe and pleasant environment where children can develop socially and personally. Where they do not always get the chance at home or in their immediate environment.
Job tasks and duties
As a volunteer, you will be there together with an employee of the WIJ team to support the children and keep an overview. You will also help with the preparation. This will take a maximum of 4 hours a week. Your tasks include:
- Preparing and clearing away various play attributes.
- Actively participating in the activities.
- Making contact with the children and ensuring a safe and pleasant play environment.
Job skills and qualities
- You have an affinity with children.
- You are creative and like to think along about the activities.
- You are flexible and patient.
