Job tasks and duties
In this role, you ensure that at events and in the event of requests for assistance during crisis situations, assistance and medical care are provided by well-deployed and qualified volunteers. You are the point of contact for the Location Coordinators Volunteer Management, provide direction and guidance in the implementation of activities and ensure good mutual cooperation. You form a community with the other Coordinators Assistance in the province of Groningen.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
Our ideal Emergency Response Coordinator:
- Can lead, inspire, and motivate a group of volunteers. Is a great organizer and passionate about emergency response.
- Can adapt to changing circumstances and is energized by working in a highly innovative organization.
- Has excellent communication, social, and networking skills.
- Holds a first aid certificate or is willing to obtain one.
- Preferably lives in the service area.
- Endorses the fundamental principles and strategic objectives of the Red Cross.
