Job tasks and duties
As a fundraiser, you will be responsible for raising funds for a wide variety of projects at the Hortus Haren. You will write compelling proposals and promote them within the organization. You will also advise on potential opportunities and help translate them into concrete results. With your enthusiasm and insight, you will contribute to realizing our ambitions and preserving the unique value of the Hortus.
We are looking for someone who is willing to take responsibility for creating the right content for donors on our website.
Can substantiate funding requests ranging from a few thousand euros and upwards.
Want to contribute to raising funds for projects such as the restoration of the Celtic Garden and the Laarman Garden.
Job skills and qualities
The Fundraiser:
- Has experience or interest in fundraising.
- Is willing/able to take responsibility for posting the correct text for donors on our website.
- Can prepare well-substantiated funding requests, ranging from a few thousand euros to more.
- Is willing/able to contribute to fundraising, for example, for the restoration of the Celtic Garden and the Laarman Garden.
- Is creative, enterprising, and sees opportunities where others might overlook them.
- Contributes to the preservation and enhancement of the Hortus Haren.
