Job tasks and duties
As a shuffleboard instructor, you'll support residents during game afternoons at De Brink residential care facility. Your responsibilities include:
- Help with setting up and cleaning up the activity.
- Supervising residents during shuffleboard.
- Providing attention and a friendly atmosphere.
Shuffleboard takes place weekly on Tuesday afternoons from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Job skills and qualities
We'd love it if you identify with the following:
- People-oriented and sociable: You're attentive to the needs of the elderly and able to connect with others.
- Affinity with the target group: Preferably, you have experience with or knowledge of elderly people, such as those with dementia or other physical conditions.
- Commitment: You're willing to dedicate yourself to others and enjoy working with a team of volunteers and professionals.
- Patience and respect: You respect the wishes and boundaries of residents and provide them with the care and attention they deserve.
