Job tasks and duties
Along with another volunteer, you'll support residents during a fun afternoon at De Brink residential care facility. You'll help with:
- Preparing and tidying away materials.
- Serving coffee and tea.
- Providing attention and camaraderie.
- Supporting the pétanque game.
This activity takes place weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Job skills and qualities
What do we require?
- People-oriented and sociable: You are attentive to the needs of the elderly and are able to connect with others.
- Affinity with the target group: Preferably, you have experience with or knowledge of elderly people, such as those with dementia or other physical conditions.
- Commitment: You are willing to dedicate yourself to others and enjoy working with a team of volunteers and professionals.
- Patience and respect: You respect the wishes and boundaries of residents and provide them with the care and attention they deserve.
