Job tasks and duties
For the Music at the GRZ (Geriatric Rehabilitation Care) project, we are looking for an enthusiastic and calm volunteer to support our team. This special project is led by the conservatoire and an exercise instructor and takes place weekly on Friday mornings from 9.00 - 12.00 in the Grand Café.
What will you do?
- Pick up rehabbers from the ward and accompany them to the Grand Café (mostly by wheelchair).
- Support during the music sessions, for example by handing out musical instruments.
- Actively participate in the sessions and help create a positive atmosphere.
- Pay attention to the rehabilitants, even when music evokes emotional reactions.
- Flexibly assist where needed.
Job skills and qualities
- Someone who is calm and friendly to deal with.
- Physically able to accompany clients in wheelchairs.
- Involved, enthusiastic and not afraid to participate yourself.
- Affection with music is a plus but not a requirement.
