Job tasks and duties
Providing support and being a reassuring presence for the person you're accompanying. Helping with completing forms or paperwork needed for the hospital visit, if necessary. Sharing information with healthcare providers as needed. Communicating clearly and empathetically. Empathizing with the person's feelings and needs. Responding quickly to unplanned changes. Being able to assist with wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
With these tasks and skills, you can play a valuable role in accompanying someone to the hospital.
Minimum education level: mbo
Job skills and qualities
Has an affinity for the elderly population.
Is presentable, has a good command of Dutch, and possesses strong communication skills.
Has an empathetic and patient attitude toward residents.
Is able to use a wheelchair.
