You'll drive a van from Gea's Give-Away Shop throughout the province of Groningen. You'll visit people's homes to collect used items and safely transport them to the Give-Away Shop for reuse. You'll meet many people who are grateful for your help, both with collecting the items and the gratitude they feel when they can use them. This way, you'll help both society and the environment.
Job tasks and duties
- Collecting used items.
- Scheduling with your direct colleagues for optimal trips.
- Coffee breaks are always welcome.
- You are free during all school holidays (Northern Netherlands) and public holidays.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
- Possession of a valid driver's license (B).
- Several years of driving experience.
- A pleasant smile.
- You have no physical complaints (related to lifting).
- Knowing more languages than Dutch is a plus, but not a requirement.
Extra information
You'll be volunteering in a friendly environment, working with the entire team at Gea's Giveaway Shop.
Besides her regular duties, Gea also organizes special events for everyone in the neighborhood and for the volunteers, including a fun BBQ before the summer holidays.
