Within Magma, Gea's Give-Away Shop is a unique concept in the Vinkhuizen neighborhood. Over 4,000 families of various nationalities now use Gea's Give-Away Shop. Furthermore, donations of beautiful items for reuse are received from across the province.
Around 30 volunteers work on the Gea's Give-Away Shop and Contribution team.
- You'll be the key liaison between customers and volunteers, ensuring frequent contact with people.
- You won't be required to work during all school holidays and public holidays, as the Give-Away Shop and Contribution team is closed on those days.
Job tasks and duties
- Answer the phone.
- Make appointments.
- Maintain a schedule.
- Answer emails.
Minimum education level: lbo/mavo/vmbo
Job skills and qualities
We require:
- Fluent in written and spoken Dutch.
- Possibly other languages.
- Ability to work systematically.
- Experience with phone calls.
- Experience answering emails.
- Friendliness is in your blood.
- Experience with resolving complaints.
- You enjoy friendly conversations.
Extra information
You'll be working in a friendly team. Besides your regular duties, Gea also organizes other fun events for locals. As a volunteer, you can participate in these, and she also organizes a fun BBQ for the volunteers at least once a year.
This position offers the option of a participatory or entry-level role.
